Northstar Acquires Compass Quantum
By Northstar
Northstar Technologies Group has acquired majority ownership of Compass Quantum from Compass Datacenters, effective April 2, 2025. The company will now operate as two divisions: Northstar Enterprise & Defense and Northstar Federal. Compass Datacenters will remain a strategic partner, focusing on AI and edge infrastructure.
This move strengthens Northstar’s position in scalable, modular data center solutions. Backed by expertise in fiber-reinforced composites and strategic partnerships like Owens Corning, Northstar is well-equipped to meet the growing demand for rapid and resilient infrastructure supporting AI, 5G, and IoT technologies.
Compass Quantum’s prefabricated modules are designed for extreme environments and support up to 100 kW of compute capacity. Now part of Northstar’s portfolio, these low-carbon, fully recyclable systems can be deployed without concrete and include complete lifecycle support, reinforcing Northstar’s commitment to sustainable, mission-ready infrastructure.

SOLARGLAS composite solar structures are crafted using pultruded fiber-reinforced polymer composite components. These components are manufactured and assembled in our factory, then shipped to the site ready for installation.
SOLARGLAS components are lightweight, enabling faster installation, reducing maintenance costs over the structure's lifespan, enhancing quality and durability, and surpassing the performance of steel or aluminum structures.
